I really enjoyed my time with Lois. I found our conversations to be helpful in figuring out important truths about myself and my work. Her thought-provoking conversations about strengths and life was helpful to me as a young professional. I encourage other young professionals to also work with Lois. My coaching relationship was a great experience and I hope to continue to work with her in the future.

My husband and I were both going through life transitions when we first met Lois. The tools that Lois provided in the Grip Birkman coaching for our church staff were most helpful. Each of us walked away with a greater understanding of ourselves and each other. With her help things have come into focus that will help us for the long haul here and wherever God may take each of us in the future. One of the most positive aspects for me was that no one left feeling badly about him or herself. We simply looked our strengths and how we fit as a team, as much as it pointed to areas of weakness it never became the focus.

Lois Hoogeveen’s coaching our ministry staff and spouses through the Grip Birkman assessment proved to be a fantastic experience! We all found our assessments extremely accurate, revealing more about ourselves than we were ever able to ascertain on our own. On top of that, however, what really made the experience so powerful was Lois’ obvious passion for helping us know ourselves and each other better. Her genuine excitement turned the entire afternoon into a challenging, fun, and bonding time for our new ministry team. We continue to refer back to the materials and have used them very practically in order to know how to motivate one another and to help structure our working relationships. I found the Clifton Strengths Finders coaching experience with Lois Hoogeveen to be rewarding. Through helpful questioning and observation she assisted me in clarifying and interpreting my strengths and how they are at work in my current ministry setting. Follow-up questions encouraged me to clarify my roles in certain areas and to think through future possibilities for applying my strengths. Her concluding prayer for me was a great "finishing touch."
